This itinerary combines geothermal landscapes, coastal regions, wine areas, alpine scenery, and world-renowned highlights such as Milford Sound, all within a well-paced and logical route.

Your New Zealand Journey

Day 1–2: Auckland

Arrive in Auckland and take time to recover from your international flight.

  • Visit Devonport village for views back to the city

Day 3–4: Bay of Islands or Coromandel

At this point in your journey, you have the option to include either the Bay of Islands or the Coromandel Peninsula.


The Bay of Islands offers a subtropical coastal experience with island cruises and a relaxed atmosphere. The Coromandel Peninsula provides a more compact coastal experience with highlights such as Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.

Day 5–6: Rotorua

Travel to Rotorua, known for its geothermal activity and Māori culture.

Day 7: Napier

Day 15–16: Queenstown

Day 17: Te Anau
