The biggest mistake visitors make when planning their own trip to New Zealand is trying to see too much in the amount of days they have - our roads are winding and tiring to drive, plus there are many attractions and Lookouts to stop at en route, so you can't travel huge distances day after day. For example between Rotorua and Taupo it is only 90 kilometres but it takes you all day to travel by the time you stop off at the Mud Pools, Lady Knox Geyser, Waiotapu, Huka Falls and the Craters of the Moon, all before you hit Lake Taupo! New Zealand can not be compared to Australia where you can drive 500 kilometres and see nothing! itinaries itinary
If your days are limited and you are not sure what you can see and do in that many days then please see the menu on the left. There are also more 'themed' itineraries available under the 'Travel Ideas' button if you are not sure how many days to plan for. You are welcome to use this information for planning your own trip, or please email me if you would like a personalized itinerary created for you.
