We recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances such as cancellation or curtailment of your tour, loss of baggage and expenses due to sickness, accident or delays caused by matters beyond Amazing New Zealand’s control. Ask your travel agent. They will also help you with the up-to-date visa requirements. Most travellers will be granted a visitors visa on their arrival in New Zealand, but it is best to check your personal status at a New Zealand Embassy near you. Your travel agent should also book any internal connecting flights as well as your international flights.

On arrival please dispose of ALL food items. The country enjoys a privileged low-disease state in the agricultural world market, however we are becoming more and more susceptible due to the increased volumes of tourists who unwittingly bring in agricultural diseases. So please, DO NOT bring into the country any food substances of any kinds as it will be confiscated at the airport! This includes dried food favoured by trampers, biscuits, salami, honey and especially fruit. Sorry, we have to protect our disease free image which helps to sell our agricultural products overseas.
